Now unto our must-do in Slovakia list! These activities should not be missed!

  1. The Old Town of the capital; Bratislava: While visiting the Old Town in Bratislava, take the time to hunt for the different bronze statues hidden across the historical village. Each statue acts as a reminder of people from the past. So while you go exploring, allow yourself to imagine and wonder about the stories that lie behind each of them.
  2. Visit the High Tatras: The High Tatras are the most stunning natural attraction in Slovakia. There you can go hiking from Strbske pleso to Skok waterfalls and breathe in its curative fresh air. Furthermore, if you feel up to it, walk up along the waterfalls and check out the mesmerizing mountain lakes form above.
  3. Celebrate at the Bojnice Castle: Bojnice Castle, the epitome of a fairytale castle, holds the International Festival of Ghosts and Monsters every year at the end of April and beginning of May. This event is always conceived as a story where the visitors are invited to participate during their tour of the castle and courtyard. Every year has a different motto or topic, story and characters.
  4. Vychodna Folk Festival: Vychodna is the place to be every first weekend in July.  That is when the oldest and greatest folklore music and dance festival in Slovakia has been held since 1953. During the festival, the whole village lives in a unique atmosphere where amusements and accommodation are provided everywhere.
  5. Jasna in Low Tatras: For fun during the winter season, from the beginning of December to the end of April, go to Jasna. It has the most popular ski resorts with perfectly done slopes and best natural conditions for skiing and snowboarding. After your day of fun in the snow, go into one of the numerous wellness centers and spas, and dip into a warm bubbly pool or hot sauna.
