We are Going to Jordan!

JordanThis month we will explore the anthropological wonders of Jordan, a country filled with never ending treasures.

Now, I know not everyone looks for the same thing when it comes to trips. Still, Jordan’s capital, Amman, is one of those few cities that has something for everyone. For those who prefer the typical tourist attractions, there are old towns, ancient settlements, and astounding natural wonders. On the other hand, if you prefer a more modern vacation, there are sleek streets filled with urban boutique stores, art galleries, and restaurants.

To every country there are places that must be experienced; the ancient settlements and ruins in Jordan are some of them. Jordan has fortresses that date back to the Bronze Age, one can easily see the wear from the civilizations that have settled and many centuries that have passed. However, the most famous touristic attraction would be Petra. A city with mountain facades carved by the Nabataeans and considered one of the most valued trade routes to its region. Places like Petra, Wadi Rum, Quseir Amra and others are considered as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Want to turn your vacation into a water one? You’re in luck. Jordan has two famous seas, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba. The Dead Sea has high contents of salt that there’s hardly any animal or plant life, then again, it does make all the visitors float. Conversely, the Gulf of Aqaba on the Red Sea is a haven for all you scuba divers, snorkelers and marine life enthusiasts, for it is teaming with marine wildlife.

Jordan welcomes you.
