Salted Cake

Appetizer Recipies English-Day 8

 

Ingredients:

  • 150gm Flour 
  • 4 Eggs 
  • 200gm hot dogs (cut in thick slices)
  • 100ml NADA Fresh Milk 
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil   
  • ½ Cup red & yellow sweet peppers (cut into cubes)
  • ½ Cup green onions, chopped 
  • ½ Cup Seedless olives, chopped (green or black) 
  • ¾ Cup Cheddar cheese, grated 
  • 1 ½ Teaspoons baking powder 
  • ½ Teaspoon salt 
  • ½ Teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Dry oregano 

 

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180oc
  • In a deep bowl sieve the flour and   the baking powder 
  • Break the eggs in a bowl, beat them. 
  • Slowly pour the olive oil with NADA Fresh Milk and mix well. 
  • Add the salt and pepper.
  • Pour the egg, oil and milk mix over the flour. Stir fast until smooth.
  • Add the cheddar cheese and blend, add the sweet peppers, green onions,Olives, oregano & Hot dogs then blend  them softly.
  • Pour the mix into a buttered baking tin and place in oven for 50 minutes, or until you can insert a knife blade in the center of cake and take it out dry.
  • Let the cake cool down before unmolding it to prevent it from breaking into pieces 
  • Serve the cake cold and sliced
